Dr Wong Mun Tat is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G), at Thomson Women’s Clinic (Bukit Batok) and Thomson Specialists (Woodleigh).
Dr Wong has dedicated his career to the care of pregnancy and women’s health. After receiving his degree in Medicine and Surgery, he completed his internship and residency at National University Hospital. Following which, he was accepted into the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London.
He has experience in clinical and surgical obstetrics that include antenatal ultrasound, natural childbirth and assisted delivery. He is extensively trained in gynaecological surgery. His O&G expertise and interest expand beyond pregnancy and childbirth.
He believes wholeheartedly in adopting a holistic approach towards women’s health; prevention and early detection of gynaecological cancers constitute a significant part of this belief. He advocates vaccination (against cancer-associated viruses), routine women’s health screening including Pap smear, pelvic ultrasound, and mammogram, as well as healthy eating and leading an active lifestyle.
His other areas of expertise are managing high-risk patients and menopause treatment.
